Partnerships and Collaborations

Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Transformation

ANU and Resonate Global work together to provide a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Transformation. The curriculum committee and the senate have approved the program. The University is currently seeking accreditation from the Commission of Unversity Education in Kenya. Resonate Global and the SRCM will partner to provide training in delivering this program. Resonate Global will mobilise students for the program and provide partial scholarships for students who take it. For more information, please contact Dr Gift Mtukwa at [email protected]

Transform: A Biblical, Practical and Theological in the Wesleyan Tradition

The SRCM collaborates with several educational institutions in the Wesleyan-Arminian tradition to produce an academic peer-reviewed journal. Transform: A Biblical, Practical, and Theological Journal in the Wesleyan Tradition is produced once each year. Students are encouraged to write and submit journal articles and critical book reviews in the journal. For more information, you can visit the website: https://transform.www.anu.ac.ke/

 International Board of Education

The SRCM collaborates with the International Board of Education of the Church of the Nazarene. Two programs offered by the SRCM, the Bachelor of Theology and the Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries, are accredited by the International Board of Education of the Church of the Nazarene to satisfy the educational requirement for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene.

The collaboration enables the SRCM to network with 52 universities and colleges of the Church of the Nazarene. The faculty members participate in global theology conferences sponsored by the IBOE.

Professional Mediation and Reconciliation

Professional Mediation and Reconciliation is a transformative force within the global and local judicial system. Through facilitative mediation training, participants can efficiently provide conflict resolution mechanisms. Africa Nazarene University’s comprehensive professional mediation and reconciliation training program equips mediators with essential skills to help disputants to reconcile after the case is concluded. This is possible since the program also offers reconciliation principles and mediation skills.

Successful trainees are certified and eligible to apply for recognition by the Mediation Accreditation Committee. Upon completing the 50-hour program, the trainee can work with court-annexed mediation or offer private mediation. The training has a hybrid nature of virtual and physical which makes the program effective and adaptable to one’s schedule. This training program is a cornerstone in developing conflict resolution mechanisms in Kenya and beyond. The course ensures accessibility, while its openness to diverse educational backgrounds emphasizes inclusivity and innovation. The program is done both physically and virtually within the time allocated.

In this facilitative mediation, successful participants can mediate in the following areas: commercial, human rights, environmental, intellectual property, contracts, tenants’ conflict, family mediation, succession, inheritance, divorce, election and political, and insurance claims, among others.

Student Experiences

ANU is it’s a community of believers. First, it’s a diverse community: one is exposed to different communities and cultures. It is possible to have a product and even the price of the product; you can have the systems in place but not have the market for the product. ANU gives a place for all of it.
Pastor Joy Wambui, Bachelor of Theology
Class of 2019
I appreciate the quality of education at ANU, the relationship between the lectures and the students, and the emphasis on the spiritual life of students. I also appreciate the staff. Pastors can care for their families and churches while studying with the distance learning program. So, distance learning helps many in several countries, and trains more ministers in Africa and the world.
Rev Balibanga Katambo, Master of Arts in Religion
Class of 2019
I love ANU not because I am a Nazarene and it’s our school but because of the quality of the education. The School of Religion is more like a family. Everybody knows everybody, and there is a love that enhances the quality of learning. Despite the love, the quality remains high, and I love it!
Rev Farai Manjengwa, Master of Arts in Religion
Class of 2019
I appreciate countless things about ANU. First, it’s a learning institution where one grows spiritually, academically, and socially. But more than that, ANU’s training programs prepare one to go into and impact the world. In the School of Religion, I especially appreciate the unity, love, and maturity exhibited in the class, besides the exemplary lives the professors demonstrate during and after class sessions.
Dr Ouma James, Doctor of Ministry
Class of 2019
