Description of the Program
As part of our mandate to build national and international capacities for sustainable environmental management, the department of Environment and Natural Resource Management at Africa Nazarene University initiated training course in Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Audit as per NEMA 2003 Curriculum and the environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Audit Regulations 2003.
The course is based on UNEP’s and UNIDO’s approaches and is mounted in collaboration with national institutions and experts. The University also liaises with NEMA institute, UNEP, KWS, ICIPE and local universities that are involved in environmental issues. The courses focus on trainers, practitioners, managers, decision-makers and environmental regulators. The course is offered at ANU Nairobi Campus.
