Rev Dr Gift Mtukwa – Dean, School of Religion and Christian Ministry (SRCM)

Dean’s Message

Welcome to the School of Religion and Christian Ministry (SRCM) at Africa Nazarene University.  SRCM is a vibrant hub for learning, research, and preparation for ministry and service to God and humanity, we believe that “a call to ministry is a call to prepare”. Our student body, hailing from 21 nations, including those beyond Africa, creates a truly global learning environment. Offering a range of study options, from a PhD to undergraduate degree programs, we equip our graduates for diverse careers.

Aligned with the university’s theological foundation in the Wesleyan tradition, the School of Religion and Christian Ministry (SRCM) is on a mission to equip individuals to answer our Lord Jesus’s call and foster Christlike discipleship worldwide. Our graduates are living testaments to this mission, making significant contributions to the church and society, with many serving in prominent areas of ministry and service globally. Our graduates work as pastors, District Superintendents (bishops), missionaries, Field Strategy Coordinators, Educators and administrators in parachurch organisations.

If you are looking for a place to prepare yourself as a servant, a minister, or a scholar and for a ministry that will make a difference in our world, the School of Religion and Christian Ministries at ANU is the place for you.  Karibu, Akwaaba, Mauya, Wamukelekile!
