Welcome to the Africa Nazarene University, Education Department!
Thank you for your interest in our University, we welcome you to explore what we have to offer, and are sure that you will find a program that answers your passion and dreams.
In keeping with the mission of the University, The ANU education department aims at producing competent teachers of character, who are pillars of ethical values in their communities. We recognize the important role that educators play in society and are committed to imparting the right skills, values and attitudes that will be critical in helping our graduates respond to diverse societal needs.
We offer our programs in a flexible way, which includes school based, for teachers who are on the regular Kenyan Public Schools calendar, and Distance learning for our learners who are far away( or in other countries) or for those whose schedules do not allow them to attend the school based sessions.
We are committed to excellence in teaching, and responding to each individual student need.

The ANU Education department views learning as a force of positive change. It aims at producing educationists at all levels, who are well grounded in both theory and practice, and with the right values and attitudes, needed to impact on the field of education, the students and the communities at large. Our programs are grounded in professional and Christian Ethics to prepare educationists who are the ethical pillars of society, and will model future generations to create an ethical and moral society.
We believe learning is a continuous process and encourage those who want to join us in this profession as well as those who are already practicing professionals to join us and become better educators.

Qualifying students coming from these institutions are admitted as second or third year students in either the Bachelor of Arts Christian Ministries or Bachelor of Theology programs.
