Master of Education is a postgraduate program for those who wish to study a particular field in education, acquire a general theoretical background for understanding past and future field experiences, develop skills for use in professional work in education.
The program is designed to cater for courses in four related areas of specialization as follows: History of Education, Sociology of Education, Philosophy of Education and Comparative Education.
The program is designed to cater for courses in four related areas of specialization as follows: Educational Administration, Educational Planning, Educational Economics and Curriculum Development Studies.
The program caters for course in four related areas of specialization as follows: Educational Health, Educational Psychology, Guidance and counseling and Special needs in Education.
The program is designed to cater for the following concentration: Educational Research.

The program is mainly designed to cater for specialization in Early childhood Education and Development Studies.

2nd class Honours,Upper Division or GPA of 2.7
Applicants without BED should have a post graduate diploma in education
