Description of the Program

Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology aims to train and produce counseling professionals who are fully aware of themselves, capable of helping themselves and others to attain psychological well being in a dynamic global world. The MA in Counseling Counseling Psychology, (M.PSY) is a two year, 54 credit hour program that aims to address some of these multivaried counseling demands. It aims at training graduates who will become competent counselors in the diverse concentrations and who shall help stem, alleviate and mitigate on some of the counseling concerns in society. The program shall also produce counseling professionals whose responsibility shall be to change mal-adjusted behaviors of members of the community and promote holistic maturity. The training will enable graduates to handle clients within a holistic approach to become whole even as they grow professionally and personally.

2nd class Honours,Upper Division or GPA of 2.7

2nd class Honours Lower Division or GPA of 2.5 with relevant work experience of at least 2 years.
