Description of the Program
The Bachelor of Theology degree aims to lay a biblical and theological background for persons of ministry. Students grow intellectually and spiritually through the outcomes of content, competence, character, and context.
Objectives of the Program
- Describe the central message of the Bible;
- Identify the major issues that constitute Christian theological thought;
- Relate the heritage of the Christian faith to contemporary culture;
- Give evidence of skills development in such areas as thinking, reading, writing, preaching, teaching, counseling, organizing and relating to others;
- Apply the ethical and moral principles of the Christian faith to contemporary life;
- Effectively share the Christian faith with others for their salvation, sanctification, and growth in Christian maturity;
- Function effectively in some area of Christian ministry;
- Live an exemplary Christian lifestyle marked by humility, service, and victorious faith.

Admission Requirements
Overall Grade of C+ in KCSE and C in Maths, Or
2 principals & a Subsidiary (A’ level), Or
Minimum GPA of 2.3 from Diploma, Or
Credit pass at Diploma level
NB: Exemptions awarded to applicants with a minimum GPA of 2.7.
Exemption Status
Up to 23 units exemptions for those with diplomas in the area of study from a recognized university.
