Welcome to the Africa Nazarene Law department. The department provides you the opportunity to become a leader in the legal field both nationally and internationally. Our all-encompassing programmes and activities are geared towards the sharpening of skills, integrity and character, rather than just the acquisition of knowledge of law. In line with Africa Nazarene University’s mission and vision, we are committed to providing excellent legal education that would stimulate our students’ academic, spiritual, moral and social potential.

The department’s duty transcends the boundaries of legal education to encompass important contributions to the social, political and spiritual transformation of Kenya and Africa at large. As an emerging leading law institution in the country, the department is at the moment actively engaged in vigorous research and teaching that would facilitate legal reforms and policy revision in Kenya and Africa. The establishment of the department in early 2010 is in recognition of the increasing demand in legal qualifications both in Kenya and Africa. The department is therefore a useful addition to the subsisting ANU’s programmes.
