Computer Information Systems: ICT Services

We aim at offering services of excellence to the whole Africa Nazarene Community as we support students pursue their endeavors. We offer a range of services including:

  •    Internet Services
  •    Printing Services
  •    Email services

HelpDesk and User support

The Office of Information Technology has a help desk designed to aid faculty, staff and students in any technology problems. The help desk can be found in the Grace Roles building.

Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Saturday - Closed

Sunday - Closed

The CIS Helpdesk provides telephone and email support service to the ANU community. Advice concerning basic technical assistance and problem resolution for a specific list of supported computer products and services is given. If you require assistance, please email: cis@anu.ac.ke

The Helpdesk is closed on university holidays.

Network Services

The department has setup a provision to enable users within the community to access the resources allocated within the network. Users are allocated usernames and password that gives access to the network. Within the same arrangement the department also encourages students and other users to use their personal laptops that are connected to our network.

Internet Services

To enable extensive research, the department has made Internet accessibility possible and easy. The department has also set up a provision to extend the Internet accessibility to students and staff using their personal computers(laptops).

Printing Services

The department has availed network printers at strategic places within the university to enable users access and use the services. Students and other users are required to purchase print credits to facilitate their printing.

Other Services

The CIS department provides services and support for a defined local area network environment. We are available for consultation and advice. Some other services that the department offers include: 

  • Installation and maintenance of servers.
  • Installation of software on ANU machines.
  • Access to site licensed software.
  • Customer support in the use of electronic communications tools.
