Objectives

At the completion of this degree program a student will:

  1. Have a solid theoretical and practical foundational background in Information Technology and Business Management;
  2. Be professionally prepared for careers in Management of Information Systems, Software development(web, mobile and desktop), Networking and Database Administration;
  3. Be well prepared with minimal orientation to be professionally useful in many business and technical application areas;
  4. Possess the necessary academic background for pursuing post-graduate studies.

Course Duration

BBIT at Africa Nazarene University takes 3 calendar years to complete the full coursework and industrial attachment.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum KCSE aggregate C + (C plus) or ANU’s Pre-University Program B- (GPA of 2.7) AND demonstrate proficiency in English.  The applicant must have attained a C in the following subjects: Mathematics and English for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (K.C.S.E) or equivalent.

Mode of Study

The course is offered for full-time day students at the Main Campus (Ongata Rongai) and also evening students at ANU's Town Campus(Ngong Road).

Intakes:

  • Traditional (daytime classes): January, May, September
  • Evening: January, May, September
