Africa Nazarene University does not discriminate in admission, access to services, or other treatment in the programs and activities on the basis of creed, religion, race, sex or disability. However, once one is admitted, one is expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of the University.
The Application Form for admission can be collected from either the ANU Town Campus or at the Ongata Rongai Main Campus.
Alternatively, simply download the undergraduate form or the graduate form.
Each applicant seeking admission to the University must be able to demonstrate an upright moral character (through appropriate character references) and express a willingness to live in harmony with the objectives and policies of the University.
Each applicant must agree to live in harmony with the general and special rules of the Church of the Nazarene while a student at ANU and must respect the Statement of Faith of the Church. Students are required to attend chapel services and Sunday service attendance is required of all that remain on campus on weekends. Students are expected to communicate any grievances in a Christian manner and resolve difficulties with students or staff in a peaceful and direct way.
Because the University is concerned with the total person, we do not allow the use of tobacco, alcohol or any drug for recreational purposes. All forms of entertainment which distract from moral and spiritual development, must also be avoided.
In order to be considered for admission to any programme at ANU applicants must:
- Meet basic admission requirements for the relevant programme.
- Pay a non-refundable application fee of Kshs. 1,500 for local applicants and US$35 for foreign applicants.
- Complete an official application form.
- Provide transcripts in support of qualifications on the basis of which admission is sought.
- Provide five passport-size photos.
- Provide three personal references. From your religious leader, teacher/employer and a family friend.

The University reserves the right to require TOEFL, pre-university english, internal placement exams, and/or tutoring for any student.
